    Description

    One of my best clients in your area has asked me to find a "Compounding Process Manager" for their 15-person sheet molded compounds department.

    A little info on the company:

    • The foundation of a 50-year stable legacy organization with global elite clients. Stable and recession-durable.

    • A market leader in an industry experiencing tremendous growth with optimistic ownership.

    • They are pioneers in their industry, consistently pushing the boundaries with new materials, driving demand for their products.
    They promote from within, which is likely to be a "flow-through" position to multi-site bigger and better things.

    • While not in the automotive segment, these experiences in manufacturing and similar manufacturing segments, with their materials, processes, and environments, align well with this role, specifically in plastics.

    This is a new position so lots of room to influence and grow


    • You'll be the subject matter expert able to spot if the formulation is off and direct the team as needed.

    • They currently have a first shift, and they are planning to grow it into two shifts.

    • It is a 5-day-a-week first shift role.

    • Oversee testing and trials. 15-person team.

    • A multi-department liaison over trials and samples, facilitating the process with engineering, the chemistry/science team, and vendor relations.
