- Clinic Coverage needed: Immediate need until at least March, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. You should also be open to taking calls.
- We are currently looking for providers for specific call dates as follows:
- November: Monday 11/4 to Thursday 11/7
- December: Wednesday 12/4 to Friday 12/13 and Monday 12/16 to Tuesday 12/24
- January: Friday 1/10 to Friday 1/31
- February: Friday 1/31 to the entire month of February
- Job Details:
- Inpatient and Outpatient care
- Call coverage including nights and weekends
- Shared call schedule with 2 other providers
- Approximately 7-10 calls per month
- Low Inpatient Census, averaging 3-4 patients
- Handling 3-4 Labor and Delivery cases
- Seeing an average of 16-20 patients per day
- No ICU/Critical Care duties
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification required
- Procedures:
- Performing OB/GYN procedures, C-sections, and Vaginal deliveries
- In-office procedures:
- Conducting LEEP, Colposcopy, and Endometrial Biopsies
- Outer Banks Hospital:
- 24/7 pediatric hospitalist available
- 26-bed Critical Hospital with additional psych beds
- 4-bed convenient care facility
- 3 Operating Rooms, Anesthesiologist, and Onsite Radiologist
- 24-hour Laboratory Availability
- Access to ECU Health Air and Ground Support for patient transfers
- Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
