    Position Summary
    Doane University, a liberal arts university with campuses located in Crete, Lincoln, and an Omaha Location invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant – Volleyball on our Crete Campus. The Graduate Assistant Coach has the responsibility of working with the Head Coach to manage the sport and student-athletes in the best interest of Doane University and in accordance with all the rules of the NAIA and the GPAC Conference.

    The Assistant Coach must demonstrate:
    Effective leadership of the team and the program.
    The ability to effectively recruit and retain student-athletes.
    Excellent knowledge of the sport.
    An outstanding ability to teach the sport to student-athletes.
    The ability to represent Doane University in a positive and effective manner.
    This position will hold an August 5, 2024 start date.

    Minimum Experience Description
    Playing or coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level.

    Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
    Must qualify for acceptance into a Doane graduate program.
    Required Licenses/Certifications
    Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to the college's automobile insurance provider.
    Ability to obtain certification to drive a Doane full-size minivan once hired.
