- Conducts background research and literature reviews
- Assists in drafting material (e.g. interview guides/focus group questions) for qualitative research projects
- Assists in conducting data extraction and analysis
- Draft interpretation of data analysis and results
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 0-2 years experience required
- Knowledge of basic biology, public health, and/or emergency medical services; basic research principles required.

HJF is seeking an Public Health Research Intern to support the National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health. The incumbent will work on research-related tasks in support of advancing disaster medicine and public health. They will provide technical support to a variety of research projects in support of the National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health. Tasks may include contributing to literature reviews and work involving data acquisition/entry, analysis and interpretation.
