    Description
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Develops and maintains an effective staff education program, coordinating individualized orientation and continuing education for all nursing staff.
    • Tracks and trends statistical information to ensure ongoing competence and clinical competency of nursing personnel.
    • Collaborates with nursing administration and compliance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility policies.
    • Facilitates training affiliation agreements with local nursing schools and develops, reviews, and revises policies as required.
    • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the field through ongoing education and attending meetings and conferences as assigned.

    Qualifications & Requirements:
    Education:
    • Graduate from a National League of Nursing (NLN) accredited school of nursing.
    • Bachelor's Degree in nursing education or other related healthcare or education field highly preferred.

    Experience:
    • Must have at least two years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience.

    Licenses/Certifications:
    • Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
    • Must be certified as a Basic Life Support Instructor and maintain certification in basic life support (BLS) as a health care provider.
