    Leading commercial disaster preparedness, response, and recovery company in the Southeast seeks to hire a Construction Project Accountant to join their dynamic team.

    The Project Accountant is responsible for providing financial support to the project team by overseeing invoicing, payments/collections, and expense review from projects conducted in the Healthcare environment. The Project Accountant initially engages in ensuring all authorizations with Healthcare facilities comply with the Company's business policies. Based on the outlined terms and conditions, the Project Accountant will submit invoices, pursue payment, and provide updates to the staff regarding cash management and overall account status. This position will work closely with the Market Director to support the Healthcare Team. A Project Accountant should exemplify a wide variety of talents and experience, including having expanded technical skills to reach analytical insights, and exceptional problem-solving abilities while working in a fast-paced environment.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    ● Prepare invoicing packages based on the nature of services

    ● Create invoices according to business practices; submit invoices to customers

    ● Draft correspondences for standard past-due accounts and collections; identify

    delinquencies

    ● Direct billing inquiries to the appropriate parties in the pursuit of resolving account

    discrepancies

    ● Maintain and/or update customer records, including name and address changes

    ● Assemble reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested

    ● Prepare contracts and agreements for a variety of services with varied complexities

    while ensuring production is in compliance

    ● Follow-up on authorization requests that have been initiated by Intake

    ● Occasionally travel to project sites for administrative and technical support

    ● Maintain vendor credentialing and certifications

    ● Assist with coordinating business development events, including conferences,

    seminars, workshops, and networking events

    ● Support ancillary support services as needed, including Intake and Quality Assurance

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    ● General knowledge of accounts receivable, cash management, and debt recovery

    ● Practical application and working understanding of AIA documents

    ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate

    professionally

    ● Superb organizational and time management skills with an emphasis on accuracy

    and attention to detail

    ● Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills

    ● Highly motivated; able to work independently and in a team environment

    ● Dependable and reliable concerning work schedule and ability to meet project

    deadlines

    ● Demonstrated expertise, and commitment to, providing an extremely high level of

    customer service

    ● Exhibits active listening skills

    ● Proficient in data entry

    Education/Experience/Certifications:

    ● High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

    ● Advanced computer skills and proficiency with a Mac. Experience using Google

    Business Suite and Salesforce.

    ● Restoration or Construction, Healthcare administration experience is a plus.

    Company offers a competitive salary between $60k-$85k commensurate with experience, excellent benefits, 200 hours of PTO after 90 days of employment, along with 401k plus 6% matching, and more.
