    The Role:

    In a 24/7 environment, an IT- MES Administrator must exhibit a high level of commitment and flexibility, being always ready to respond to critical issues that can arise at any time of the day or night, ensuring that manufacturing processes are not hindered and that system performance is optimal at all times.

    Your contribution to our vision (responsibilities):
    System Maintenance and Optimization:
    Ensure that the MES is running optimally 24/7 by conducting regular system checks, updates, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and avoid interruptions in manufacturing processes.

    Network and Data Security:
    Collaborate with the IT- infrastructure team, you protect the MES by implementing and monitoring security protocols, to protect sensitive manufacturing data from unauthorized access, breaches, or cyber-attacks. The same applies for remote access from system suppliers and machine manufacturers.

    User Support and Training:
    Provide continuous support to end-users facing issues with the MES and conduct training sessions to facilitate maximum utilization and understanding of the system.

    Data Management and Backups:
    Implement and manage effective data backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss and ensure that crucial manufacturing data is always available and retrievable in case of system failure. Develop a disaster recovery strategy for the MES systems and contribute to a general BCM solution.

    Integration and Interface Management:
    Ensure that MES interfaces smoothly with other IT systems (like ERP, PLM, and QMS) within the organization, managing data flows and integration issues to maintain a seamless information exchange.

    System Upgrades and Enhancements:
    Examine System Maintenance and Optimization

    Compliance and Audit Management:
    Ensure that the MES adheres to regulatory standards and compliance requirements, and facilitate audit processes by maintaining accurate and accessible system logs and records.

    Issue Resolution and Troubleshooting:Provide immediate response and resolution to system issues, conducting thorough troubleshooting and implementing solutions to ensure minimum impact on manufacturing operations.

    Reporting and Documentation:
    Develop and manage comprehensive reporting systems, providing insightful data to management and creating documentation for system configurations, changes, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

    Vendor Management:
    Engage with software vendors for licensing, updates, and to resolve any system issues or challenges that cannot be addressed in-house, ensuring that the MES software is always supported and up-to-date.

    You bring:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Certified training or studies in the field of information technology or engineering.
    • 5 years' of professional experience in the IT sector (specifically in the area of manufacturing systems).
    • Server and database knowledge.
    • Proficiency with MRP/ ERP (SAP preferred) software platforms and Microsoft Office/ 365, (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
    • Independent, team-oriented and confident decision-making skills, even under deadline pressure.
    • Excellent communication skills. ( written & verbal)
    • Willingness to participate in on-call duties.
    • Language skills: English.
    A Plus:
    • Bachelor's degree in IT Technology or engineering.
    • 6+ years in computer system validation and analytical instrumentation testing.
    • Experience in supporting and maintaining MES systems in a manufacturing environment.
