Job Description:
Looking for coverage on Monday's and Tuesday's.
The EEG Technician works under general supervision while performing an Electroencephalogram (EEG) utilizing specialized equipment that monitors brain activity to assist in the diagnosis of neurologic disorders and assists with specialized testing to evaluate muscle and nerve function.
Position Requirements:
Education-GED or High School diploma required. Graduate of an accredited program in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or one year certification from college/technical school preferred.
Experience-minimum of one-year related experience and/or training preferred.
Certifications/Registrations-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.) in electroencephalography preferred.
