Code Response: RR, code blue, code purple, code restraint, code BAT, MTP - May be the team leader or the recorder depending on ACLS provider response. Responsible for ensuring all documentation is accurate and thorough.
- In periods of down-time: support surges in acuity & volume- assist units with tasks/ bedside procedures, assist with admissions/transfers, round in ED to help with pts awaiting admission
- Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse. Must hold a license in the state of permanent residency.
- Critical Care Experience Required
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- May be assigned to day, evening, or night shifts or a combination per departmental policy.
- Scheduled off at least three holidays per year.
- Required to work weekends per unit need.
- Expected to work overtime on occasion.
