    The Role:

    As a Project Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in executing projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will encompass a blend of office and fieldwork, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of high-quality results. From interpreting drawings and specifications to managing subcontractors and overseeing project close-out activities, you'll be at the forefront of driving excellence in construction.

    A typical day looks like:

    • Interpret drawings and specifications with precision and attention to detail.
    • Coordinate material procurement, delivery, and inventory management.
    • Assist in developing project schedules and help in ensuring timely completion of work activities.
    • Manage submittal and Request for Information (RFI) logs and approval processes.
    • Utilize Microsoft office, Viewpoint Spectrum and HCSS software to help track project progress.
    • Collaborate with construction crews to ensure adherence to plans and designs.
    • Assist in subcontractor planning and coordination.
    • Procure required permits for construction activities.
    • Track quantities of work performed and participate in the creation of monthly billings to the customer.
    • Aid in the planning of complex work tasks to ensure that safety, quality, and productivity requirements are met.
    • Monitor project close-out activities, including punch lists and final billings.

    Do you have what it takes?

    • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field preferred.
    • 0-3 years of previous related experience preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
