    Job Title:
    Automation EngineerLocation: Onsite (Lansdale, PA)

    Duration: 8 Months

    Shift Structure:
    Option 1: Night Shift Only (7 PM 7 AM, 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off)

    Option 2:
    Rotating Shift (Day shift for 2 months, then Night shift for 2 months, with a schedule of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off; totaling 84 hours in a 2-week period)

    Shutdown Period:
    Typically, during Christmas, usually lasting 3 weeks, with standard rate compensation

    Onboarding:
    Standard rate compensation during the onboarding period

    Years of Experience Required:
    Minimum of 12 years in a relevant field

    Job Summary:
    The Automation Engineer will be instrumental in designing, programming, and maintaining control systems within an industrial setting.

    This role demands a robust understanding of DCS systems, PLCs, SCADA, and associated software, along with a commitment to providing exceptional technical support and developing comprehensive technical documentation.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement automation strategies for industrial process control systems.
    Design, program, and configure DCS systems, PLCs, and SCADA software.
    Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
    Develop and maintain technical documentation and user manuals.
    Participate in project management and coordination.
    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems.


    Qualifications:
    Extensive experience with PLC/Robotics/Automation systems.
    Proven track record of working in shift-based roles, particularly 12-hour shifts.
    Strong interpersonal, communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
    Ability to work multiple shifts or exclusively night shifts as required.
    Comfortable with ad-hoc shutdown periods and flexible scheduling.


    Preferred Skills:
    Incident management, Service request management, Problem management, and Change management.
    Excellent computer skills and proficiency in relevant software tools.
