    Location: Chicago, IL


    Status: Accepting Candidates


    Duration: 13 Weeks


    Shift: 5x8's, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm


    Requirements:
    -
    Certification: NBTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)
    -
    Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center or large teaching hospital
    -
    Experience in

    Multiple Services: Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Thoracic, Trauma, Oral-Maxillofacial, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, Ortho/Plastics Hand, Plastics, Urology, Colo-Rectal, Pediatric, and Adult.


    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in surgical procedures across various specialties including but not limited to Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Thoracic, Trauma, Oral-Maxillofacial, ENT, General, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, Ortho/Plastics Hand, Plastics, Urology, Colo-Rectal, Pediatric, and Adult.
    • Set up and maintain a sterile field in the operating room.
    • Prepare and handle surgical instruments and equipment.
    • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
