Overview Of Position
Oversee daily operations within the assigned work area to ensure efficient use of labor, adherence to quality standards, and achievement of operational goals.
Essential Job Functions
- Directs work area production personnel to include daily assignments, meetings, discipline, training, vacation scheduling, and time and attendance system accuracy.
- Working with leadership teams to ensure that schedules and quality standards are maintained.
- Works with Production Coordinators to ensure that planning and resources (materials and personnel) are available to support production.
- Assign tasks and explain procedures to personnel. Trains and guides operation personnel on assigned tasks.
- Identify resources needed to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Responsible for work area safety issues and housekeeping.
- Transfer personnel to other work areas depending on project requirements per leadership team's request.
- Maximizes labor efficiency and productivity.
SKILLS

- EDUCATION:
- Requires an associate degree or its equivalent with 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.
- Strong supervisory skills.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and team orientation.
- Have good computer and communication skills.
