Job DescriptionMid-sized law firm looking for a qualified Help Desk Technician capable of handling some managerial responsibilities. The position requires a solid technical background combined with customer service experience. A problem-solving attitude with the ability to prioritize internal queries, manage outside vendors and a related technology budget are essential skills to perform well in the position. Responsibilities are further detailed below.
Maintain Desktops
•Repair and replace desktop hardware and peripherals as needed
•Keep software applications up to date
•Maintain software inventory
•Install new software as needed by staff upon request
•Relocate hardware as needed
•Assist users with handheld/BYOD issues (iPhones, Androids, Tablets, etc.) pursuant to applicablefirm policy.
Maintain Printers, Copiers, Scanners, Faxes
•Assist staff with performance/production issues
•Monitor printers, copiers, and faxes for performance issues
•Work with hardware vendor support as needed for repairs
•Assist staff with OCR as needed
Maintain Phone System and Video Conferencing
•Assist users with phone issues and work with phone/software vendor support as needed
•Setup video conferences and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Administer User Accounts for Online Services
•MacAfee Spam Console
•Egnyte File Sharing
•Westlaw Next
•Accurint
•LexisNexis
•Pacer
•Assist Bookkeeping with Juris Accounts
•Assist Bookkeeping with Equitrac accounts
Administer Internal Accounts
•Copier Scanning Accounts
Maintain Firm's Online Presence
