    Position SummaryThe FP&A Analyst is responsible for establishing and monitoring the financial performance of the business. The Analyst will create, monitor, and evaluate financial systems while providing forecasts, annual budgets, and consolidating financial data.

    This role may also support processing invoices, communication with vendors and internal staff, and general administrative tasks to facilitate smooth AR/AP operations.

    ResponsibilitiesPerforms general cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting departmentPrepares periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.

    Maintains the general ledgerCodes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly booksReconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banksVerifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accountsProvides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual auditFiles required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agenciesAs appropriate, coordinates with software vendor to maintain accounting software system; recommends updates to enhance the accounting softwareUnderstand industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in accounts payable and financial management, and other relevant topicsSkills and ExperienceBachelors degree in accounting or related field2+ years work experience with financial accounting and cost accounting preferredUnderstanding and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principlesStrong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and computer accounting systemsAttention to detail and accuracy in data entry and transaction processingFamiliarity with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements is preferredIONNA is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices through a competitive base salary, as well as offering bonus programs, comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, 401(K), and paid holidays.
