A mental health and substance use facility for adults and children is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
In New Bern, North Carolina, you can explore the historic downtown area and take a stroll along Tryon Palace, visit unique shops, and indulge in the vibrant culinary scene.
Credentialing takes about 30 days or less. The schedule is 32 hours per week. They can take an MD for all or an MD/NP team to split each location. Must meet service definition so an MD would have to still work 8 hours and an NP 8 hours for a total of 16 per location. Patients are adult ACTT, 18 and up. SPMI includes schizophrenia, mood, and psychosis disorders. They can have a case manager travel with them to visits. The treatment team meets each morning.
