    We are assisting our client, a printing and digital media organization, in their search for a Network Administrator.

    This is a direct hire, full-time, 100% remote position.


    JOB TITLE:
    Network Administrator


    POSITION SUMMARY
    The Network Administrator is responsible for the

    installation/configuration,

    operation, maintenance, and monitoring of network hardware and infrastructure.


    This individual is part of the Networking team and is responsible for ensuring the network systems and procedures adhere to organizational values of security and cost effectiveness, while providing value to our customers.


    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
    Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware (Aruba equipment/Fortinet Firewall).
    Manage and maintain the company's IT network infrastructure.
    Monitor network performance to ensure network performance, availability, security, and to identify and resolve issues.
    Oversee the installation of new hardware or software.
    Perform regular system updates and security patches to maintain a secure and reliable network.
    Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve network-related user concerns effectively.
    Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and guides for other support staff.

    QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

    Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent work experience.
    2+ years' experience in a Network Administration role.
    Experience configuring and maintaining firewalls, Fortinet preferred.
    Experience configuring and maintaining switches, HP Aruba experience preferred.
    Experience configuring and maintaining wireless access points, HP Aruba experience preferred.
    Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and security best practices.
    Excellent Communication skills along with the ability to work independently and as a team.
    Excellent Problem-solving skills.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
    Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity and coordination.
    Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility.
