    Description
    NexRev is looking for an independently driven business development manager to develop new sales opportunities and close deals.

    In this role, a "Hunter" is needed to:
    analyze market opportunities, identify decision-makers, initiate contact, present the solution, and close. The business development manager will focus on selling a proven energy efficiency solution to national multisite customers. This job requires the individual to be based in the DFW area.

    Reports To:
    VP of Sales

    Responsibilities:
    Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers
    Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer identification to closed sales
    Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, conferences, and indirect methods such as networking
    Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
    Consult with prospective customers regarding their business challenges and requirements, then provide a range of solutions with options and cost benefits
    Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge to have meaningful conversations with prospects
    Travel nationally (up to 50%) to make presentations to senior managers and decision-makers
    Draft and deliver proposals that focus on project ROI, IRR, and NPV
    Engage technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements
    Regularly report on sales activity to senior and C-level staff
    Keep detailed notes in CRM about prospect and customer interactions
    Provide forecasts on the best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant periods
    Work with delivery teams to proactively address problems
    Cultivate strong relationships with third party and partner companies that may be required to deliver full solutions to customers
    Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns
    Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation
    Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
    Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing to develop improve sales tools
    Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
    Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
    Skills

    Engineering, HVAC, or technical background is desired but not required
    5+ years of experience in a sales-related role
    Demonstrated ability to source and close deals
    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Understanding of key financial metrics:
    ROI, IRR, and NPV
    Solid time management and organization skills
    Ability to actively utilize a CRM solution
    Competitive salary plus uncapped commission
