    Position Overview :

    We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Levelland, TX.

    This is a night shift position with 1:2 patient ratios.

    The ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently in a Level I maternal designation unit handling low-risk deliveries with a higher-risk community population (including diabetes, gestational hypertension, pre-eclampsia, and preterm labor).

    Key Responsibilities
    Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients and postpartum mothers
    Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
    Perform fetal monitoring (external/internal, IUPC)
    Administer medications including magnesium sulfate, oxytocin (Pitocin), prostaglandins, and antihypertensives
    Neonatal resuscitation and newborn assessment
    OB triage and NSTs
    Circulate and recover C-sections
    Postpartum care including hemorrhage management
    Work independently in L&D and assist in mom/baby as needed
    Float between units or nearby sister facilities as required

    Required Qualifications
    Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
    Active Texas RN License or Compact License (in hand at submission)
    BLS (AHA)
    ACLS (AHA)

    NRP
    Preferred Qualifications
    AWHONN (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced)
    Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
    Previous Charge Experience
    Community Hospital Experience
    Mom/Baby or Transition Nursing experience
