- 40 hours/week @ three 13.5-hour shifts, 4:30 am - 9 pm

- Role supervised directly by an RN
- Provide nursing care from patient assessment to treatment initiation and discontinuation
- Monitor and assess patients during and after treatment
- Intervene as necessary to assess and monitor patient's access
- Follow infection control policies
- Understand water treatment concepts and their impact on patient care
- Effectively communicate changes in patient condition to the charge nurse
- Administer medications and educate patients within your scope of practice
- Attend mandatory training and staff meetings to enhance your skills

- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Preferred, but not required, dialysis experience
