The published pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 and doesn't include any bonus information and/or our very generous benefits package.

This pay range may be adjusted for certain geographies, based on local labor costs.

If you are hired at Ducati North America, your final base salary will be based on factors such as geographic location, skills, and depth of experience.

SUMMARY:

The Service Area Manager's role is to represent Ducati by overseeing all Service operations at Ducati dealers in their designated service territory, in this case the Northwest, with the preference that the candidate in this role lives near our corporate office in Sunnyvale, CA.

This involves visits to dealerships and preparing visit reports aimed at improving the quality of service that Ducati customers receive.

Providing training and guidance to specific dealers on Ducati guidelines, operating procedures and service practices are all part of the role, including management of warranty issues and NPS CSI coaching.

Primary point of contact for Ducati dealership Principals, GMs, and Service personnel on service-related technical and business operations
Responsible for providing Ducati Service departments with operations and commercial support management, to reinforce Ducati North America's (DNA) goals
Achieves sales goals in spare parts, oil, and tires in region.
Reviews, analyzes, processes, audits, and prepares reports regarding warranty requests
Supports dealerships through scheduled visits, ensuring the fundamentals of stable Service business management by collaboratively assessing dealer procedures and management systems to evaluate efficiency of operations
Assists Ducati Customer Service department to achieve customer satisfaction by identifying, managing, tracking, and reporting all dealership repair attempts
Collaborate with the Ducati Network Development team to ensure successful set up of new dealer's service departments
Participates in all pertinent Ducati technical training and business development
Produces field reports and other internal technical documents for the Service and Quality departments regarding issues that arise in the field
Consults with Service Business Manager with regards to Ducati Service government compliance and reporting
Provides onsite dealer training for all facets of new dealer appointments and CSI/NPS
Provides management of Ducati Service policy, as laid out in the Dealer Manual
Provides on-site expertise at events
Provides hands-on technical support for Marketing motorcycles as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree and/or equivalent field-based work experience required
5+ years' experience within technical and commercial business in service operations a plus
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
High level of accountability and strategic thinking
Detail oriented with strong organizational; and follow thru skills
Business management skills including experience with a DMS
Strong computer skills - specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to travel at least 50% monthly, including occasional international travel
Must be able to work with little supervision
Team player driven by team success
Hold a valid motorcycle endorsement on driver's license
Motorcycle enthusiast strongly preferred
