Position Overview:
The Senior Analyst of O&M Accounting will report to the Senior Manager, O&M Accounting and assist with the entity accounting close.
They will work closely with FP&A, operations, shared services, project accounting, and the corporate accounting group to ensure an accurate and timely accounting close.
As the Senior Analyst, O&M Accounting, you will:
Manage the accounting close process and timelines, including processing journal entries, reconciling bank statements, and completing balance sheet reconciliationsProcess intercompany billing and ensure correct intercompany balances are reflected at the end of each monthAbility to cover anything and everything in accounting, including the coding of purchase orders and invoices,Review the monthly and quarterly financial statements with a large volume of intercompany balancesSupport SOX implementation efforts for the accounting close processSupport monthly and quarterly deliverables for FP&A and Financial Reporting TeamsSupport deliverables for auditors during quarterly reviews and annual auditsAbility to manage a varied and diverse workload, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high degree of attention to detail/commitment to continuous process improvementStart-up or entrepreneurial experience, a plusAssist with special projects on an ad-hoc or as requested basisOur ideal candidate will have:Bachelors degree in accounting or finance5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/orindustry experienceRenewables industry experience a plusHigh attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational skillsAbility to multi-task and work independently, as well as within a team environmentExperience with tight deadlines and timeliness for work performedExperience with OneStream, Yardi, and Salesforce a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
