ResponsibilitiesJOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Human Resources:
Local Recruiting liaison with HR and Plant Manager
Onboarding Trainer / Document Control
Logistics Coordinator:
Utilize the Infiltrator Order and Scheduling System – JD Edwards / Enterprise 1 (E1)
Oversees shipment of product to ensure on time and accurate delivery to Customers.
Arrange Transportation for Shipment (including Managing Contracted Drivers)
Capable of preparing reports such as daily production reports, trucking, tracking, and others assigned by the MP&L Leader or other leadership roles.
Assists other facilities without a dedicated Logistics CoordinatorResearch and vet carriers to minimize Freight costs to deliver EZflow products.
Requesting Quotes for Outside Haulers
Printing Paperwork, Managing BOL, etc.
Resolve credit holds with Corporate Accounting.
Must satisfy the role and dynamics of a freight and logistics member – on call as required.
As required, support direct labor needs on the production floor to ensure on time delivery of scheduled loads.
Able to travel to other locations as required, estimate 20-30% travel.
Able to work overtime as required.
Purchasing Coordinator:
Partner with Supplier Quality Engineering to identify and review new potential suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and discounts by partnering with Corporate Purchasing
Create purchase orders in JD Edwards E1 as necessary.
Plant liaison with IWT Accounts Payable Representative
Coordinate and negotiate indirect spending – Grainger, Fastenal, McMaster Carr, etc.
Responsible for placing orders and paperwork for purchasing Inventory and Non-inventory items (including spare parts and management of contracted services
Inventory Coordinator:
Apply Lean Manufacturing Tools such as Kanban to minimize inventory levels, optimize inventory turns, reduce wasted motion, establish world class 6S, etc.
Manage incoming materials quality and reaction to include contain, control, correct if required.
Manage Spare Parts Storeroom and inventory of Winchester and Monticello locations.
Raw material inventory receipts in E1.
Stock and non-stock receiving documents sent timely to AP Rep.
Create purchase orders in JD Edwards E1
Scrap transactions entry into E1per best practices.
Daily production entries per best practices.
Monthly inventory support including physical inventory.
Work order ship confirmations entered per best practices.
Works with MP&L Lead, Plant Manager and Supervisor(s) to develop production plans which minimize changeovers and maximize Direct Labor Efficiency.
Assist the Plant Manager with general EHS responsibilities, including OSHA standard compliance.Assist the Plant Manager with IAPMO and other certification requirements.
Assist the Plant Manager with ISO certification requirements.
Assist the Plant Manager with Operations KPI management.
Any other duties as assigned by IWT Executive leadership to improve operational performance.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
HS Diploma, Associate Degree or Higher preferred
Capable of working in MRP systems, Oracle/JD Edwards a plus
Logistics and freight industry experience required.
Hands on experience that will benefit a manufacturing operation.
