    Description

    The Product Coordinator is responsible for the overall packaging operation, scheduling, and interfacing with customers. This position reports to the Director of Project Management.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Responsible for handling special packaging projects.
    2. Work with customers for new product launch.
    3. Maintain daily, efficient, and timely communication with customers about project status.
    4. Enter customer purchase orders into ERP system.
    5. Responsible for working with customers to develop new package designs.
    6. Needs to work with Production Supervisor to make sure enough staff are available to meet packaging requirements.
    7. Work closely with Procurement and Inventory to ensure components are available for upcoming projects.
    8. Responsible to make sure material is available for various jobs before starting the line.
    9. Responsible for working with QA and Production groups to resolve day-to-day problems.
    10. Responsible for issuing daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to customers, as required.
    11. Responsible for planning and inventory of packaging material for various products.
    12. Responsible for communicating with customers about project status and project needs.
    13. Prepare and send out samples to customers, as per requirements.
