- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Implement and manage security devices and technologies, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security solutions, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard against cyber threats and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor network traffic for security incidents, investigate security breaches, and implement appropriate incident response measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and compliance, to implement security measures that align with business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in network administration, with a focus on IT security.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in network administration tools and technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, and network security principles.
- Experience with security technologies and solutions, such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, and encryption.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
