Description
As a Steel Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the construction or manufacturing process, specializing in tasks related to steel materials.
Your responsibilities will include assisting in the installation, fabrication, and maintenance of steel structures, components, and equipment.You will work as part of a team to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance:
Inspect steel materials for defects, ensuring that they meet industry standards and project specifications.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members, including welders, fabricators, and supervisors, to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Reporting:
Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the project.
Qualifications and Skills
Prior experience in construction or steel-related work is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of basic steel fabrication and installation techniques.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
Benefits/Compensation
Full Time
Pay Rate is $14.00 per hour (10 hours of overtime weekly available)
1st Shift, 6am-4pm or 5a-3p NO EVENINGS - NO WEEKENDS
Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
