    Estimators

    provide support for single large projects or multiple smaller projects.

    Primary duties include participation in bid efforts, working with teams on Design Build and CM at Risk delivery methods, and providing administrative support to the estimating department.

    Estimators are expected to be competent in basic estimating tasks and is developing an understanding of more advanced estimating, principals including conceptual estimating, project logistics, and indirect costs.

    Responsibilities
    performs quantity takeoffs.
    estimate with anticipated productivities, crew sizes and equipment selections.
    document control (sub lists, distribution of plans, addenda, etc.) for assigned projects.
    pricing for projects in the hard bid environment and collaborative delivery method.
    and competently evaluate trade and vendor bids.
    pricing for basic project elements and assists in the preparation of key estimating deliverables.
    oversight from senior personnel, develops budget uploads and purchasing plans.
    scoping documents for subcontracts and purchase orders for review by senior personnel.
    conceptual estimating efforts within the department, including development of
    models for review by senior personnel.
    in the pricing of project logistics, including hoisting and temporary construction elements.
    basic understanding of indirect costs, including insurance, taxes, and fees.
    travel will be required.

    Minimum Qualifications
    engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or
    experience.
    years of experience.
    candidates will have obtained their LEED accreditation.
    use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
    with estimating and modeling software.

    This is a safety sensitive position and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply.
