- Lead and manage a team of lawn care foreman and crew members, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure team cohesion and individual development.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity within the lawn care division, while maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular team meetings to facilitate open communication, address challenges, and celebrate successes.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team/owners to identify opportunities for business growth and enhance client relationships.
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols.
- Act as a point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and other operational aspects of the lawn care division.
- Own division finances and key performance indicators to help drive success on the team and the business unit.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations, and incorporate relevant knowledge into division operations.
- Previous experience and a proven track record of leadership and team/people development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- A customer-centric mindset and a genuine desire to exceed client expectations.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Experience in the lawn care industry a plus but not required
- Additional certifications or training in horticulture, landscaping, or related fields is a plus but not required.
