Specializing in consulting services within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction sector, Connico stands out for its expertise in aviation and transportation, offering support to owners, architects, engineers, and planners in various project aspects such as cost estimation, scheduling, planning, and project management.

    We are currently seeking a Senior MEP Electrical Cost Estimator experienced in airport and other construction projects.

    Job Title: Senior Cost Specialist

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Quantify and price materials and labor for electrical systems, value engineering, and life-cycle cost analysis.
    • Estimate the cost of Electrical components accurately and promptly based on project specifications.
    • Coordinate mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical aspects of projects with other disciplines while managing a diverse workload.
    • Conceptualize, plan, and estimate MEP work at a rough level of detail without full documentation.
    • Develop clear and concise cost estimates customized to client requirements.
    • Maintain cost and assembly databases and lead an internal team to achieve project objectives.
    • Provide guidance and training on technical and non-technical topics to team members and conduct quality management reviews.
    • Occasional travel may be necessary for conferences, client meetings, or project sites.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Electrical Cost Estimating, with a preference for Aviation background.
    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying, or equivalent field is mandatory.
    • Demonstrated expertise in project management, budget control, and client communication.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant estimating software programs.
    • Ability to interpret architectural, civil, and engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Relevant certifications such as CCP, CPE, RICS, or PE are required.
    • Prior experience in aviation is advantageous.

    Connico provides a competitive compensation package, starting at $125k, with bonus potential and room for professional growth. The position offers full-time remote work for the suitable candidate.
