- Coordinate activities relative to customer complaints, including customer interface, customer portals and scorecards, immediate response actions, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions and follow-up.
- Identifies, prevents, and analyzes defects, both internal and external.
- Tracks internal and external defects and reports this information for the purpose of problem-solving analysis, error proofing and continuous improvement.
- Review and approve PPAP submissions to customers. Assist production with PPAP builds to ensure all customer requirements are met.
- Support APQP activities for new product launches and product/process changes, including the proper implementation of customer specific requirements.
- Conduct internal Quality Audits and external Supplier Audits, reporting findings and following up/assisting on corrective actions.
- Key team member in the development and maintenance of Control Plan, PFLOW and PFMEA.
- Accountable for gage capability and statistical methods.
- Involved in continuous improvement initiatives including scrap and labor reductions and elimination of redundant inspections, including customer follow-up where necessary.
- Lead communication and resolution of vendor related issues, including issue communication and follow-up on
- vendor corrective actions.
- Train/educate the workforce on Quality principles through various methods.
- Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle for work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety Program.
- Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistent with continuous improvement goals and the values of DSB Technologies which includes following the policies, procedures, and requirements of our Quality Management and IS Environmental Management Systems
- All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Required Preferred 3-5 years related work experience.
- Required Preferred Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
- Required Preferred Six Sigma experience.
- Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and specifications.
- Required Preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office
