    Description
    Our client in Robinson PA is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to join the team


    Duties:

    • Lead the development of geometric roadway designs using MicroStation, ensuring contract documents adhere to state and local agency standards.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and junior Engineers involved in the project.
    • Ensure that project deliverables are comprehensive, ready for review, completed on time, and remain within budget constraints.
    • Collaborate in coordinating drainage design activities for highway projects.
    • Conduct field investigations and site assessments to inform project planning and execution.
    • Assist in the preparation and submission of specifications and permits.
    • Contribute to the development of preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities.
    • Play a key role in preparing specifications, permit submissions, and project cost estimates, ensuring compliance with PennDOT standards.
    Job Requirements


    Requirements:

    • B.S. in Civil Engineering degree, coursework in highway/roadway engineering
    • PA PE licensure
    • A solid grasp of relevant codes and standards
    • Demonstrate competent use of Microsoft Office products
    • Knowledge of PennDOT methods and procedures for roadway design preferred
    • 5 years of MicroStation experience
    • Drainage, stormwater, and erosion control design experience is a plus.
