Job Description

As a Security Officer - Security Clearance SCIF Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-profile aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document and communicate observations, support access control and site protocols, and deliver customer-focused assistance to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, issuing temporary badges, and/or coordinating visitor escorts per site policy.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and documenting events in detailed reports.

Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or policy concerns.

Monitor entry points, cameras, and/or other security-related systems, communicate via radio and/or phone, and support operational continuity through accurate logging and shift turnover updates.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security experience.

Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.

Be at least 21 years of age.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
