- Performing a range of CT Scan Testing procedures for in-patients and outpatients under the guidance of the Radiologist.
- Conducting other diagnostic imaging examinations as required.
- Handling clerical tasks and scheduling duties as necessary.
- Demonstrating expertise in operating CT Scanner Units.
- Completing imaging procedures efficiently and within set timeframes.
- Verifying insurance pre-authorizations prior to scanning patients.
- Assisting in training new staff and students on departmental procedures and safety protocols.
- Administering contrast media under physician's supervision.
- Assessing patients for adverse reactions and monitoring their status.
- Ensuring proficiency in operating contrast media injectors.
- Performing i-STAT testing and calculating GFR accurately.
- Providing age-appropriate care to patients of all age groups.
- Adhering to safety regulations and practices at all times.
- ARRT registry completion.
- CT Scan ARRT registry.
- State of Delaware Radiation Protection License.
- Preferred: Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology.
- CT Registry exam completion within 2 years of hire.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
