The Center for Health Equity & Community Wellness (CHECW) seeks to eliminate inequities resulting in premature mortality.CHECW addresses inequity across community and healthcare systems in partnership with community, faith-based, and health care organizations.
The Bureau of Brooklyn Neighborhood Health seeks to hire five (5) Community Health Workers,
Work closely with colleagues in the Division of Environmental to become versed on latest climate agency objectives.,
Support agency efforts in building resilience in identified communities to mitigate impact from localized emergencies such as legionella outbreaks; conduct messaging communicating and other efforts make community aware climate health preventive measures.
,Engage with community partners promote health services resources education.
,Represent Bureaus Bronx Brooklyn East Harlem Neighborhood Health at health fairs meetings external events occurring throughout community.
, Deliver presentations workshops diverse audiences throughout community.- Maintain report data demonstrate activities results.
- Demonstrate capability lead implementation special initiatives communities level
