    Position Summary

    Seattle Bank is currently seeking a professional to join the Accounting team.

    The Senior Accountant will be skilled in all aspects of general accounting and reporting, demonstrate high ethical standards, and strive to provide a great customer experience in line with Bank's core principals.

    Essential Duties


    • Manage accounting and reporting for key processes over Fixed Assets, Consumer loans, Prepaids, and Investments.
    • Complete daily tasks including journal entries and FRB reconciliation.
    • Maintain Fixed Asset records on set up, journal entry and reconciliations.
    • Actively participate in month end close process, prepare month end entries and cash recons; ensure timely completion of all month end assignments.
    • Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.
    • Report on the Bank's liquidity ratio and deposit growth.
    • Record Consumer Loan transactions and report on past dues and delinquencies.
    • Process intercompany transactions with the holding company.
    • Prepare management reports and schedules for Call Report, Reg F, and ALCO meetings.
    • Prepare footnotes for the Bank's annual report, support external auditor with year-end audit requests.
    • Assist the Bank with various regulatory audits.
    • Maintain and improve internal controls for accurate and timely reporting
    • Follow policies, procedures and make continuous process improvements.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.
    Requirements


    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 4+ years' of relevant experience
    • Experience in banking and internal controls over financial reporting a plus
    • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe.
    • Team player, treat people with respect, work ethically and with integrity
    • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, tight deadlines and shifting priorities
    • Organized, analytical, and detail oriented
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
