    Description

    We are a family owned company which is an owner and operator of Assisted Living Communities. We are are a new company and are privately owned. We currently own 15 Assisted Living and Memory Care communities in 11 states and looking to expand our footprint.

    As Director of Operations, You will report to ownership. You will assume the day-to-day operations of the community including the management of the profit and loss within all departments of the Assisted Living communities. You will be responsible for setting the culture and hiring all team members. You will coordinate, plan, implement, monitor, direct and evaluate all aspects of the assisted living operations including supervision, support and coaching of all employees based in the senior living community.

    These are established Assisted Living Facilities so we are only looking for experienced Operational Directors with experience consisting of multiple disciplines in Assisted Living

    As the Director Operations, you will meet the financial expectations, maintain high resident and family satisfaction within each department of assisted living home. Your goal is to ensure the quality of the customer services provided to those senior residents living within the assisted living communities.

    In addition, you will manage the senior living communities based on policies, procedures, and guidelines set forth by the experienced team of operators who manage and own senior assisted living communities. The Director is fully knowledgeable of all State and City regulations, federal regulations, guidelines, and reporting pertinent to the day-to-day operation of the Assisted Living community.

    Manages the operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies

    Communicates a clear, resident-focused vision to communities

    Reviews annual resident satisfaction survey. Develops and deploys programs to ensure and increase resident satisfaction

    Manages the Executive Director of each community. Holds Executive Director accountable for achievement of community-specific and organization-wide goals

    Ensures buildings, grounds and property are up to company standards of excellence. Assists Executive Team with development of annual operating and capital budgets. Aggressively anticipates and minimizes negative budget variances and deficits. Continually explores means of revenue enhancement and expense reduction.

    Develops plan to meet NOI expectations with each Executive Director Ensures budgeted revenue is achieved or exceeded by maximizing occupancy

    Develops and executes plans to increase occupancy Reviews monthly financial statements, implements plans of action with Executive Director for deficiencies Maintains strong knowledge of competition

    Develops and maintains a positive image with Region. Becomes active in social and civic affairs in the various community. Represents the facility and the company to governmental agencies, professional organizations, community groups and other appropriate public agencies/groups.

    Generally, spends three-four days per a month at each of the communities. Remainder of work is regularly performed from home office or corporate office

    Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversee and/or manage efforts related to recruitment, hiring, team member relations and separations of Community Leaders in accordance with policy.

    Responsible for oversight of Community Executive Directors, maintaining full responsibility for efficient operations and compliance with the financial goals established in the approved Operating Budget within the Region.

    Responsible for delegating authority, responsibility and accountability to the responsible leader. Lead the Regional team in support of the mission and values of the organization in accordance with community values.

    Demonstrate an attitude of teamwork when interacting with Community Team Members; take ownership of job responsibilities through prompt and appropriate follow-up to issues as they arise (ensuring appropriate resolution); anticipate needs of residents and/or Community Team Members in a proactive fashion.

    Promote development of team management skills, capabilities and sharing of best practices through participation in and leadership within Region.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Administration, Gerontology or other course of study that relates to service to the elderly, preferred in order to be considered to run the assisted/independent living home.

    3-Years minimum as an Executive Director of Operations of an assisted living community.

    Solid Tenure

    Be licensed (if required)

    You must be able to demonstrate a successful path in operations experience specific to senior living, assisted living, Alzheimer's / Memory care communities.

    Traveling will be required to each community once a month at the minimum

    Job Types: Full-time, Contract

    Pay: $120, $150,000.00 per year
