+ Performs highly skilled repair work and leads the work of others in the inspection, repairing, rebuilding and assembly of equipment (large power plant equipment including turbine rotors & stationary components, motors, pumps and fans) sent to the Central Machine Shop. + Operates bridge cranes, hoists, fork trucks etc., assigned to the shop and performs equipment rigging and staging setup for inspection preparation for shipment. + Works with 1st and 2nd class PEM personnel or supervisors to further learning of skills needed to move to the next level with demonstration of increasing independence.
