- Prioritizing tasks in an ever-evolving environment.
- Checking patients in and out and updating demographic information.
- Reviewing provider schedules to identify and correct as appropriate.
- Obtaining insurance benefits for patients and quoting payments due at the time of service.
- Collecting Payments.
- Processing incoming and outgoing referrals.
- Navigating our electronic medical record.
- Processing appointment requests via portal, email, and phone.
- Protecting patient health information.
- Various other tasks as needed to meet the needs of our practice.
- The desire to learn.
- The ability to multitask.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Great customer service skills.
- Experience with insurance is a plus.
- Prior customer service experience is a must.
- Computer efficiency.
- Prior use of an electronic medical record (especially Athena) is a plus.
