    Progressive Care Unit RN Opportunity

    We are seeking experienced Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurses for a travel nurse assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

    About the Role:

    • Care for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment, but aren't unstable enough to need ICU care.

    The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years recent acute care experience and possess strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    As a PCU Travel Nurse, you will utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information, detecting any changes and thereby enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations.
    You should be prepared to perform tasks such as providing basic bedside care, stabilizing critical cardiac patients, changing dressings and starting IVs. You must also prepare administer record prescribed medication reporting any adverse reactions treatment. Additionally initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
    A successful candidate should be able able stand walk long periods time as well bend lean stoop without difficulty lift pounds easily move lifting up times possesses good skills coping stress relate people ages backgrounds.
