- Experience working in a pediatric medical center or specialty care unit that serves complex pediatric cases.
- Clinical duties for PEM physicians are to evaluate, diagnose, manage, consult, and treat all patients who seek care in the Texas Children's Emergency Centers for any problem or complaint.
- Core privileges include the performance of high stakes and other procedures commonly performed or needing to be performed urgently or emergently
- Applicants must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree and be Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
- The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or hold an active Texas medical license.
- Graduated from an accredited Pediatrics/Emergency Medicine Residency and has completed a (PEM) Fellowship
