- Responsible for achieving department, safety, production, quality, and continuous improvement goals.
- Manages the safety and continuous improvement/cost out efforts within assigned area
- Conducts weekly departmental safety meetings
- Schedules computer based training modules for associates
- Maintains Job Safety Analysis and Standard Operating Procedures for all work areas in department
- Audits all safety inspections and conducts accident investigations along with safety production teams
- Provides coaching for associates and issues corrective action when necessary
- Coordinates the work assignments for all associates in areas of responsibility.
- Responsible for first article sign-offs and maintaining standard operating procedures
- Interfaces with project managers to ensure clients' product expectations are met.
- Moves and manages labor to facilitate the dynamic work-flows within the department
- Review daily and weekly efficiency reports to ensure associate compliance with production standards.
