    Enterprise Application Architect - SAP

    Location:
    Newark, NJ (Remote with 10% travel)


    Duration:
    Full time

    The Enterprise Application Architect (EA) is responsible for overall program technical solution architecture and design.

    EA leads the program technology architecture including software architecture, integration architecture, Data architecture and cloud architecture using SAP ISU, Salesforce, Maximo, and/or AWS platforms.


    Responsibilities:
    Translate business requirements into system functional and non-functional requirements.
    Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices.
    Provide strategic thought leadership to architectural designs and application development on the SAP, Salesforce, Maximo, and AWS platforms.

    Provide technical oversight and governance of SAP, Salesforce, Maximo, and AWS platforms and related business systems to ensure architectural integrity.

    Prepare technical design documents for complex projects involving custom integrations, and data migration.
    Define Architecture Principles, Patterns, Blueprints, Guidelines, and Standard Methodologies.
    Identify, formulate, and evaluate risks associated with Application Architecture design options.
    Recommend and/or evaluate Application Architecture exceptions.
    Extrapolate and define re-usable patterns for Application Design, Application Development, Application Deployment, where they don't exist.
    Evaluate best system-fit for a capability (e.g. manage an asset, manage a document, manage a process exception, etc.) while considering an enterprise landscape.
    Application Road mapping, Architecture modeling and communication using different tools like PowerPoint, Visio, and/or Sparx Enterprise Architect.
    Work Cross-Functionally with Architects, Product Managers, Design Engineers, Developers and Business Analysts.


    Qualifications:
    10+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, Program Solutions Architect, or Solutions Architect
    Must have experience with SAP ISU and SAP ECC 6.0 (GL, AR, AP, AR, WM)
    Experience architecting solutions using SAP, Salesforce, and/or Maximo platforms
    Experience designing APIs to integrate enterprise level applications
    Deep understanding of RESTful architecture principles and their applicability
    Familiar with Architecture Frameworks and Architecture principles (TOGAF preferred)
    Experienced with Application Road mapping
    Proficient with Architecture modelling and communication using different tools like PowerPoint, Visio, and/or Sparx Enterprise Architect
    Experienced with modelling notations like UML and ArchiMate
    Experience with multiple project management methodologies including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
    Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience communicating at all levels
    Experience in establishing and managing customer relationships and effectively managing expectations
    Experience running multiple projects or deals under tight timelines
    Electric utilities experience is preferred
    10% travel needed.
