    Cook/Supervisor - Evening Shift 1230pm-8pm

    Reporting to the Dietary Manager, the Evening Cook will prepare menu items following set standards, serving attractively and at the right temperature while maintaining proper hygiene to prevent infections.

    This role is Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts to support dietary requirements.

    A Day in the Life of a Dietary Cook/Supervisor

    • Executes job duties safely as per requirements.
    • Reviews menus and recipes, preparing meals according to standards.
    • Estimates food quantities needed.
    • Follows recipes precisely.
    • Adheres to proper food handling practices.
    • Adapts meals for individual resident needs.
    • Serves meals accurately.
    • Properly stores leftovers.
    • Supervises dietary staff when needed.
    • Maintains kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Performs dishwashing.

    Qualifications:

    Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

    Experience in a dietary department and large-scale food preparation is an advantage.
