- Identifying and pursuing client contacts to establish long-term relationships and develop new projects.
- Identifying opportunities and leading the strategy to pursue and capture those targeted opportunities.
- Assisting Market Leaders/Discipline Managers and others in working across all disciplines within the geography.
- Leading development of internal proposal strategy including Go/NoGo decisions, teaming, win themes, writing assignments, graphics, etc.
- Managing relationships with key public and private stakeholders, potential partners, government leaders, professional associations and other organizations.
- Serving as KCI delegate to key Community and Professional Organizations
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or applicable related field or equivalent experience required. Masters degree preferred. Minimum of 9 years of experience.
- Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
- Complete Annual Individual Training Program
- Train adequate backup personnel to support your role in your absence
- Meet monthly with Discipline Manager, Operations Manager, and Practice Leaders to review financials
- Prepare and deliver monthly proposal results
- Chair at least one technical society committee
- Comply with all KCI policies and procedures
- Hire and manage work routine of all assigned staff and assign job activities as required
- Meet annual Performance Agreements targets
- Meet monthly or more frequently as necessary with the Market Leader and Discipline Manager
- Participate and contribute to annual leadership meeting(includes PLEP training)
- Participate in and contribute to three regional office forums per year
- Represent KCI in one technical society
- Monitor effective use of equipment and personnel
- Operate within specified (corporate or project) budget parameters
- Provide market trends to discipline managers for the strategic planning session
