    Job Summary

    Assists the Store Manager in managing the overall daily operations of a store, including the hiring, discipline, and scheduling of employees to ensure cost effective and quality store operations. Participates in the achievement of store objectives. Assists in completing accounting and paperwork associated cash receipts and prices and conducts physical inventories. **This opportunity is at our Southpark Meadows location in Austin, TX.**

    **WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

    Recruit, select, and onboard associate team members.

    Approve schedule changes for all employees.

    Perform store opening and closing duties including financial processes and delegation of job duties schedules.

    Monitor product trends and changes in retail and communicate to District Manager.

    Keep supervisor informed of product, guest or personnel issues.

    Develop plans to effectively participate in company special events and promotions.

    Review employee timecards and make the necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with Company policies and governmental regulations.

    Coordinate associate training.

    Manage the inventory processes to ensure that they follow company procedures. This includes inventory cycle counting, inventory adjustments, shipping and receiving of merchandise and annual inventory. Notify the appropriate corporate and retail manager when inventory issues are discovered.

    Participate and assist in conducting regularly scheduled store meetings.

    Develop and conduct teambuilding activities.

    Monitor returns in accordance with retail policies; approve guest returns.

    Monitor associate customer service levels; provide feedback as needed. Ensure that customer concerns are addressed quickly and appropriately.

    Process employee purchases.

    Consistently demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills; a strong attention to detail and a high degree of organizational skills.

    Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    Performs the duties of Store Manager in their absence.

    Collaborates with the team, both departmental and with cross functional teams to build positive working relationships and establish a high level of trust and credibility throughout the organization.

    Assists customers with transactions.

    Greets and assists customers in selection and purchase of merchandise.

    **WHAT YOU WILL NEED**

    Associates Degree in a related field AND two years retail experience OR equivalent education/experience (4 Years).

    Pass a background check as well as an alcohol, controlled substance, and illegal drug screen that meets Company standards before beginning.

    Ability to consistently maintain a driving record that meets insurance company requirements.
