- Manage teams through all phases of cycle development, including analysis, project design and development, testing periods, installation and final delivery.
- Responsible for assembling project plans, team work assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
- Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
- Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources.
- Strong vendor management skills. Some projects will have work outsourced to onshore and offshore resources.
- Identify complex risks, lead reviews, create risk mitigation and implement action plans.
- Manage one or more cross functional projects of high complexity.
- Responsible for the management of one or more medium to large sized, moderately to highly complex projects
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
- Manage project scope and changes
- Manage and control project cost and schedule.
- Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and priorities.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
- Self-starter - Ability to leverage previous experience and available information to create and update project plans. Requires little oversight.
- Strong presentation skills with experience with providing project updates with all levels of the organization.
- Advanced ability to oversee and manage large, complex, diverse and strategic projects that impact the organization as a whole
- Advanced ability in implementing program and project plans, monitoring progress, resource usage and quality
- Advanced knowledge in conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified
- Advanced understanding of multiple project management disciplines; waterfall, agile/scrum.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership, drive results, solve problems, and possess interpersonal skills from prior work situations
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective.
