    Role

    Responsible for initiating and coordinating the internal functions required in effective implementation of administrative policies, accounting, operations and projects. Has complete responsibility for day-to-day purchasing, project management (internal and external assigned), leases (building and equipment) and Insurance. In addition, participates in the management of all security technology processes and equipment bank wide. Meets with all levels of management to achieve goals.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    • Project Manager Services. Work with management or Facilities team to identify, create scope, forecast, plan, implement, and manage projects. Projects could include internal bank processes, replacement of bank-wide equipment, space planning, furniture replacement and/or construction remodeling projects. Manage design teams, IT, Facilities staff and Risk Management to complete successful project within forecast and meeting deadlines.
    • Manage contracted supply partners for purchases of supplies, forms, furniture and equipment with a variety of vendors in order to obtain the items required at the most advantageous price and delivery time. Process documents to complete the procurement process.
    • Security technology and security process management. Participate with additional security team members to manage day-to-day requirements of physical security technology. Includes but not limited to security video, access control, burglary and environmental alarms for all Bank and Corporate locations to ensure regulatory compliance, safe working conditions and asset and cash protection.
    • Manage Bank liability and executive management insurance policies, including the renewal process. Represent the Bank to insurance carriers and brokers for incident reporting, claims settlements and documenting for compliance purposes.
    • Manage leases, payments, contracts, renewals, reporting for Capitol Federal leases and tenant leases.
    • Interpret policies and procedures as established by superiors. In turn, establishing procedures that implement operational and/or fiscal policies.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
    • Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
    Experience

    Five to seven years experience in general business, construction, facility or security processes. Experience in project management, leadership, contracts, accounting and budgeting.

    Education/Certifications/Licenses

    College degree required. A valid driver's license.

    Skills
    • Ability to comprehend, analyze, interpret, and communicate the most complex business documents, respond effectively to the most sensitive issues, write reports, manuals, and overall project communications, work autonomously ninety percent of the time when supervisor is not readily available, ability to learn new technology. Has extensive computer experience in Word, Excel, Outlook email.
    • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
