    Description
    Major Duties and Responsibilities
    • Assist with new hire onboarding processing and preparation.
    • Create new hire personnel and benefit files.
    • Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, phone directories, or departmental lists, etc.
    • Update the intranet website with the most current information.
    • Assist with the annual open enrollment and benefit election changes.
    • Assist Admin staff with clerical paperwork, administrative tasks, and phone back up, as needed.
    • Review and maintain weekly time reports for all employees in Paylocity.
    • Record PTO and Sick leave monthly for payroll purposes.
    • Maintain and monitor FMLA leave in conjunction with daily leave as indicated by timekeeping and processing FMLA forms.
    • Serve as the campaign coordinator for Refill Caf/United Way and collect and maintain fair share forms annually.
    • Be familiar with all Mississippi Insurance Licensing requirements.
    • Apply for new resident and nonresident licenses.
    • Process renewals for resident and nonresident licenses.
    • Maintain copies of all resident and non-resident licenses current for each state. Keep up with all correspondence or changes to meet each states requirements.
    • Coordinate licensing courses for new applicants including the course, testing and application. Collect licensing manuals purchased by Ross & Yerger from employees after completion of courses.
    • Coordinate continuing education classes for licensed employees, process payment and maintain receipts for record keeping purposes.
    • Maintain the licensing inbox and respond to emails in a timely manner.
    Requirements
    • Bachelors degree from an accredited university and at least one-year full time work experience.
    • Experience in a business-related setting.
    • Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel and Outlook) advanced skills preferred.
    • Must be comfortable in an electronic environment with strong computer skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent people skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
