About the location:
Sleek urban retreat in the Pacific Northwest. Surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks, deep-blue waters and swaths of evergreen forests, Seattle is as wild as it is trendy. Our Hotel puts you in the heart of the city's downtown, with the Seattle Art Museum on one side, iconic Pike Place Market on another and the waters of Elliott Bay gleaming to the west. Wake to a fresh cup of coffee delivered straight to your room, then head out to explore eclectic neighbourhoods and craft breweries, or spend the day hiking up nearby Mount Rainier or kayaking on Lake Union. Come nightfall, meet us at Goldfinch Tavern, an Ethan Stowell Restaurant, and let our chefs show you all the best local flavours of your new favourite city.

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is looking for a Seasonal Pool Bartender who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. Our Pool Bartender will be a member of a dynamic team who provides service and support to our hotel guests and residents. This position reports to the Pool Supervisor. U.S. work authorization is required for this position.

What you will do

Offer friendly and prompt service to our guests
Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the food server using the hotel's point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest's original order; anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Provide knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks including origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
Maintain an accurate inventory count, process log entries for voids and spillage, cut and prepare fruits and other beverage garnishments.
Assistance with preparation and distribution of hourly pool amenities when needed

What you bring

•Hospitality-oriented and willing to go above and beyond for our guests and residents

•Strong command of the English language (multi-lingual preferred)

•Ability to work outdoors in sunny and warm conditions

•Able to lift up to 35 pounds

•Ability to work in a fast paced work environments

Schedule & Hours:

Our pool "season" is from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Expectation of hours worked will be 8 hours per day, 5 days per week during this time frame.
