    :

    Demonstrate adequate knowledge of the hospital, laboratory and referral facilities computer systems Demonstrate proficiency in patient specimen collection and test order functions Demonstrate correct venipuncture/capillary/urine/drug screen collection techniques Collect all specimens efficiently and timely Correctly perform instrument maintenance and/or quality control (testing and documentation as necessary) Comply with all applicable laboratory safety policies and procedures Will require the ability to function in all areas of the laboratory (i.e.

    Blood Bank, Chem., Hemo, Coag, Urinalysis, Micro, Immuno) Handle non-technical, phlebotomy and clerical duties as needed #

    Experience/Qualifications:

    Successful completion of an Associate#s Degree in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician Program #for certification as an MLT by ASCP, AMT, AAB or an equivalent certifying agency Certification by ASCP, AMT or other nationally recognized certification agency New graduates must pass one of the national certification exams within 18 months of hire Competency assessment and continuing education in laboratory sciences required throughout employment # What Sets Us Apart Archbold Medical Center is a four-hospital, three nursing-home health system with 540 patient beds.

    Description:
    Demonstrate adequate knowledge of the hospital, laboratory and referral facilities computer systems
